Please call as apposed to email, as owner will not see emails or offers. call to discuss area code Seven Five Seven - Three Two Nine - 9979 1990 Boston Whaler Guardian Montauk 17 Fresh Re-power with very nice, very low hour 1999 Mercury 90 hp two stroke with oil injection.The Guardian series is Boston Whalers Law Enforcement, Military and Commercial division.These boats are the beefier big brother to the Whalers we all know. They have more fiberglass, better fittings, stainless keel guards, etc. These "blue dot" hulls are gray instead of white.These Guardian 17 has been a favorite of Military and Marine Police for years, often seen with 50 cal machine gun mounts on the bow!This Whaler is referred to as the Montauk on steroids, designed for military action and capable of taking direct machine gun fire - and of-course, she cant sink.The Center Console is larger and beefier with heavy gauge rails and military grade aluminum sealed hatch.The Leaning Post is a heavy military grade aluminum not offered on standard Montauks.This particular Guardian was a local boat ordered new from Colley Marine in Virginia Beach by Dominion Virginia Power. They used her occasionally at a local power plant, keeping her inside a sheltered building on a trailer. So, she did not see the typical heavy use and abuse that the military tends to put these boats through.She has never been kept in the water and has never been bottom painted.All pictures are recent, she runs 42 mph on GPS.If your a Whaler guy, but don't want the same thing your neighbor has, this is for you.Trailer is original and in good condition.Fast, Fun, Unsinkable and Retains Value.This is a very cool, unique and sought after Whaler and its for sale for $10,500 obo.

Thanks. 757 -Three Two Nine- 9979 Boat is listed locally and could sell at any time. 1990 Boston Whaler Guardian 17 This is a rare opportunity to own a 17 foot Boston Whaler Guardian - the Whaler built for Law Enforcement, Military and Commercial use.The Guardian is a Montauk on steroids built with more glass, stainless keel guards, heavy duty console, hardware, hatches. aluminum leaning post, etc. They are gray, not white.-- sorry, no .50 cal gun mounts will be included!The boat is in very good condition, the motor however (original equipment 1990 Johnson) is not. It has low compression on one cylinder, and should be replaced. This would be the perfect boat to re-power.
