Very nice for her age. The engine compartment was very clean and well maintained as is the boat. It stays covered on a trailer. The upholstery has been very well maintained as well as the deck. The local and visiting consultant was impressed with the space and seating on this vessel, all the seating was plush and comfortable as well. Can really fit the family and friends for water sports or sunset cruise on this one. This vessel shows its age. The vessel includes the newer 2010 all aluminum trailer as well. Stock #388812 2005 Chaparral 256 SSI 5.7 Volvo Penta engine with duo prop out drive. 2005 Chaparral 256 SSi powered by a Volvo Penta 5.7gxi engine and dual prop outdrive producing 320HP. This vessel has multiple seating locations, starting with the U-shaped bench in the aft section. The some of the cushions, shown in the photos have signs of sun damage, but they are all free from rips and tears. The hull was in average condition, would shine right up with a buff and wax. This Chapparral is designed with the sleek style of a sport boat, the interior spaciousness, and the storage capacity of a traditional deck boat and the quality appointments of a Chaparral. The seller has had a remanufactured 5.7L long block replaced in the vessel, the seller does have records showing the conversation and replacement. The total hull and engine hours are 315, but since the long block the reports only 10 hours of use on the engine. The hull was clean and free from an dock rash. The trailer is painted steel, and due to being in the Charleston salty air environment, shows signs of surface rust.
