1984 C&C Yachts C&C 41, The C&C 41 is a timeless example of a bluewater capable cruiser/racer with comfortable accommodations combined with powerful and solid sailing performance. The C&C 41 has a reputation for racing success which includes winning the Canada Cup and many other notable regattas around the world. The racing bones were designed for offshore success and due to the excellent build quality it has been a favorite of cruisers since the first models in the late 70's. The boat sleeps 7 and has a well designed cruising layout with a L shaped galley, large nav station, spacious head, and ample room inside due to its nearly 13ft beam. "Shadow" has gone through an exhaustive refit which began in 2014 and is now complete. The first step was the replacement and re-bedding of the toe rail. This improvement is needed in almost every C&C 41 so be careful to make sure it has been done if looking for this model boat. A list of improvements are below:2014- New Toe Rail, New Wiring for all navigational lights and bilge pumps, New bilge pump system and hoses, re-bedded cleats, New Harken Mark V roller furler, New DC Circuits and wiring, new battery charger, AC shore power replaced, new rebuild kit installed for head, new stainless removable dinghy davits, new teak and holly sole, complete rebuild of Pathfinder diesel engine and replacement of all hoses by Maine Marine Diesel, fuel tank flush and cleanse, new Fortress Anchor.2015- New Main Halyard, Main Sheet, Jib Sheets, New simple non-wire runners that can be attached to mast if not offshore or racing, NEW DOYLE tri-radial Mainsail and 135% tri-radial headsail custom built by Jud Smith at Doyle sailmakers (who owns a C&C 41). New Tides Marine Track and Cars, New Main Sail Cover and Lazy Jack System, and Added new UV shield to headsail.2016- Removal of all old electronics and installation of all NEW ELECTRONICS- Garmin GPS Map 7610 with new NavPod, Garmin 18XHD Radar, Garmin Wind, speed, depth bundle & transducer, (2) Garmin GMI 20 redundant displays on bulkhead, Garmin 200 VHF with new antenna. All holes professionally filled and glassed. New Edson steering kit with cables and chain. Currently we are having all new custom cabinetry installed along with a new mahogany cutting board for over the oven/range.In total the boat has had over $60,000 in improvements since 2014. We have invoices for all of the work if requested.
