Great open fisherman. It fishes much bigger than the 27'10" actual size. The Cape Horn 28 is manufactured in Florida for Florida fishermen and has a comfortable and dry ride even for offshore trips of 70 miles+. Very clean. The engines were just serviced and tuned -- mechanic's name available upon request and I strongly recommend them. 893 hours on the twin Yamaha 250 HPDIs. Oversized t-top, new (3) batteries and battery cables/switches. Lots of blood has been spilled on this boat and it was mostly from the fish. It comes with a 1-year old 7" Lowrance in console thru-hull GPS Fishfinder and an 8" 2-year old backup GPS/Fish mounted on the top of the console. For full price, I'll leave my numbers in them collected over 12 years. Big insulated fish box, 1000+ gph live well, all the extras. Huge front deck for throwing a net. Easy clean up. She is a true Blue Water Cruiser built in South Africa for circumnavigation and a single-handers dream. She was built to take you across any ocean in almost any condition, plenty of stowage, super strong hull & deck with very pretty lines. The galley is simple and set up for cooking while underway. She only has 20 hrs on her newer Volvo Penta MD2010 diesel & 3 coats of Interlux bottom paint & 2 coats of Interprotect 2000E in July 2013. Just finished her new upholstery in Sep. 2013 and a freshly painted interior, she is almost ready to island hop, needing just some cosmetic upgrades, doger, sail cover, deck touch up paint & rigging, step the mast.
