Create your own private getaway with this 1980 56' CarlCraft Floating party boat. No time sharing, partners or fixed use periods. Full ownership to create your own floating home/condo for weekend getaways at your favorite location. If it is your dream or on the bucket list to remodel and create your own private houseboat, this project hull may be a good start. Not everyone has a few hundred thousand to buy a new houseboat of this size and quality. This boat has been drydocked in Page, AZ (near Lake Powell) for almost 20 years. All the engines and running gear/navigation equipment have been removed. It will be the buyer's full responsibility to arrange transport and relocation of this boat at their expense. THIS BOAT DOES NOT HAVE ANY TRAILER. If you are serious about this project boat, please do all your research and due diligence PRIOR to purchase. Seller will not assist or contribute to the moving of this boat. Full payment is due at time of purchase and buyer is responsible for moving this boat within 60 days of purchase. First 30 days of storage is free after purchase and buyer will be responsible for $5 per day storage fee thereafter. Boat must be removed from its current location within 90 days. The interior and floorplan are mostly original and need lots of work or renovation. This would be an excellent opportunity and a blank slate to create your own floating condo, party boat, spare office/guest house or even convert this to a unique home/guest house on dry land. At least 50% of this houseboat's interior living quarters are still original and intact. This boat had lots of money invested in it just prior to being transported from Georgia to Arizona nearly 20 years ago. Unfortunately, the transport company, that moved this boat cross country, failed to block the back of this boat properly for all the weight in the back transom area. The two big block 454 Crusader engines, 15kw Kohler generator and two 100 gallon fuel tanks in back probably weighed nearly 4000 pounds, all situated within the back 8 feet of this houseboat. All this equipment and weight has been removed from the back of the boat (engines, genset, fuel tanks and other running gear are not available or included in this sale). This boat has hull damage in the transom area from improper moving when it was last transported to Arizona. This houseboat is being sold "as is" and "where is" as a project, without any guarantees or warrantees of any kind. This boat has been in dry dock storage for 15+ years and is being sold with a Bill of Sale only. New owner will need to apply for registration in their own state. More interior and exterior pictures will be added later next week.
