Immediately successfuldue to her smart styling and space-efficient layout, the 3607 wasbuilt on a so-called “dual mode” hull, meaning that she can runefficiently at her 7–8 knot displacement speed and still plane outwhen the throttles are fully applied. (Note that this same hull waslater used in the production of the popular Carver 36 Mariner.) Theinterior accommodations of the 3607 Aft Cabin are surprisinglyroomy for a 36-footer, and Carver offered a pair of two-stateroomfloorplans to choose from.
