2009 Carver Sojourn The 44 Sojourn is a comfortable, spacious cruiser with a midrange LOA, economical cruise capabilities, and superior joystick maneuverability. Pod propulsion gets credit for the latter two virtues.The 44 Sojourn can be described as the first indoor-outdoor flying bridge.Carver claims the 44 is the only boat in her class with two staterooms and two heads on the same level floor without steps. Enhancing the Carver’s roominess are aggressively styled windows on either side of the saloon that couple with hull-side port lights to flood the interior with natural light—always a welcome feature no matter how long you are planning on staying onboard.
