The mission of the Carver 360 Sport Sedan—or 36 Sport Sedan as she’s often called—was to pack as much living space as possible into a compact yacht. In that regard, she achieves her purpose, albeit at the expense of aesthetics. Sporting a full-size cockpit and a huge swim platform, the 360 Sport Sedan is a versatile cruising yacht whose expansive two-stateroom interior is her most appealing feature. The main cabin is arranged with a unique raised dinette/lounge forward with Ultra-leather seating, and all bulkheads, counters, drawers and furniture are high-gloss cherry-wood. A curved staircase below the dinette leads down to the aft guest stateroom with convertible twin berths, and the forward stateroom with an island berth. The hardwood floor in the galley area is a nice touch, and the tiered windows admit plenty of natural lighting into the salon. Getting around the Sport Sedan is easy: in each forward corner of the cockpit, a five-step stairway leads to the raised side decks while an additional staircase takes you to the bridge. Topside, the helm is on the center-line flanked by companion seats.
