This sailboat appears solid and in good shape. This vessel does not have a shower, stove or refrigerator. AUTOPILOT! 1983 Catalina 30/SL in nice condition. The boat comes with a jump box and extra items. The boat is equipped with an emergency position indicating radio beacon (Global Fix) It can comfortably sleep four but is rated to sleep six. All cushions and covers are newer and are just over 6 months old and are all in excellent condition. The sails are in great shape and are 4 years old and the mainsail has one reef. The boat has two 2 speed winches for the jib sheet. This sailboat is equipped with autopilot. The diesel engine is very clean and starts right up easily and runs smoothly according to the seller. The steering cables were replaced four years ago. The house battery was replaced in October of 2022 and the boat has an electric bilge pump as well as a manual bilge pump. The boat is equipped with two freshwater tanks. Two new solar vents were installed in August of 2023. This boat does not have a shower, oven, or refrigerator. The boat feels very solid and has been well cared for. The current docked location has a bath-house and current slip is available to rent. 1985 Catalina 30 Tall Rig Great 1985 Catalina 30 in Norfolk, VA. Not shown in pictures - sails and bimini top in great condition, currently in winter storage. This boat features Raymarine Smart Pilot autopilot, Universal 25 diesel inboard engine, 40 gallon fresh water capacity. teak cockpit table and cup holders. In 2015, we added a three blade propeller and replaced some of the rigging. In 2014 we replaced the steering cable, the throttle cable and the shifting cable, as well as the throttle and shifting levers. Compass also new in 2014. This boat has a 35 lb CQR anchor and bow roller. The boat's living quarters feature a new stereo and speakers, wine cabinet, modified table, counter extension, 2 burner propane stove, microwave, drop box fridge as well as a 110 watt minifridge, and portable air conditioner and for nice nights, a wind scoop, and screens for the hatches and companion way. It also has a 1000 watt inverter with 2 receptacle plug.
