1986 Catalina Catalina 30 “CURRENT PRICE” IS A GUIDE. ALL OFFERS RESPECTFULLY CONSIDERED. General Description With more than 6,000 sold, the Catalina 30 is one of the most successful production sailing yachts in history. Actual Condition It is reported that while re-entering the harbor, the captain lost control of the boat and it hit the breakwater rocks. Damage includes; the bow of the vessel below the water line, the leading edge of the keel and the bottom of the keel. The bow damage is directly on the king spar and allowed a small amount of water into the forward bilge. The keel damage includes the leading edge, the bottom of the fin and cracking at the keel/hull joint. This also allowed water to enter the keel cavity and ballast compartment.
