It’s last cruise was recently New York to New Bedford Massachusetts. The "tall rig" model is the rare premium cruising racer model with more sail area for speed, and more headroom for comfort. I founded a non-profit boating organization, and this Catalina is too large for unsupervised novice use. We are selling way under book value. It looks good, as you can see from the photos. It has fresh bottom paint, and the teak bright work was just redone. It can be launched tomorrow and sailed to the Bahamas. Just start the engines, hoist the sails and you are on vacation. The 21 HP Universal Diesel runs smooth and strong and starts instantly. Catalina has an excellent reputation for spacious comfortable layouts, good fit and finish, easy sail handling, solid construction, stable safe sea keeping, durability and dependability. This Catalina is easy to inspect in the waterfront boatyard New Bedford MA. Don’t waste your time or mine on lower offers. Might consider trade for excavation equipment. I am offering this boat for ½ the book value for a quick sale. It is a good boat, ready to launch. I believe it is very good to excellent condition and a fantastic value. It is a used boat, don’t expect perfection. Pay the $150,000 for a new Catalina 31 if you want perfection. If you want the exact same life experience for seven cents on a dollar, and it doesn’t bother you that someone else owned it first, this boat is a great deal. CALL for more information and a viewing.
