1983 Boston Whaler OUTRAGE Classic 18 foot 1983 Boston Whaler Outrage center console in very good condition. This boat spent most of its life in Lake Norman in Charlotte NC. The hull has very minimal chips, dings or scratches. Keel is excellent. There are gelcoat spider cracks in some inner shell areas but none look serious/structural. It is much like a time capsule with very little modifications. It comes with a 1983 150hp Evinrude that runs very well. The original galvanized Wesco trailer has new rollers and bunks, tires, and lights. Tilt and trim works fine and engine runs very strong. Boat is fast in the 40-45mph range. It comes with a new fuel gauge and under the floor aluminum 63 gallon gas tank which is rare for an old whaler. The bullnose 18 foot Outrage gives a fantastic comfortable dry ride (unlike the Montauk). Boat will need rewiring / none of the wiring has been touched since 1983. Comes with an original dealer installed chart plotter, depth sounder, and VHF unsure if they work. New wood rod holders and mahogany cooler tie down. Cooler seat is original! New custom cushions made to match original. Boat comes with original hard to find telescoping boat hook and stern light. Has Penn downrigger and swim ladder. There is an original dealer installed stainless steel bimini top in very good condition and you can easily walk under it. Very well built top that doesnt shake or sway significantly when running the boat. Teak on the boat needs cleaning but none of it is rotted. Overall a great boat that is highly sought after with the classic wood, easy to handle, and the bullet proof Boston Whaler quality. Garners a lot of attention.
