1962 Century Resorter

The boat is a beautiful runabout that has been a family boat since it was purchased in 1962. It has been professionally restored at Sea Island Boatworks in Charleston, SC. The boat engine was removed. The hull flipped over and mahogany not at 100% removed and replaced. A West System put into place prior to the glass. The boat was then completely stripped and new stain and varnish applied. All of the chrome was rechromed. All of the vinyl was replaced and new cushions made. All new wiring. All new cables. All new hoses and pipes. The Charleston Coast Guard Shrimp Boat Inspector consulted with the restoration of the boat mechanics and current day safety. The boat passed a AAA safety rating for the 21st Century. The engine has very few hours and runs beautifully. I saved the boat and lovingly restored it as it was my Surgeon father's favorite thing as he passed away in 1974. I have receipts for over $27,000.00 from professional work. Moving away from the water and would like to find a good home for this one owner.
