2000 Chaparral SSI 196, Boat was included with recent home purchase. Previous owner rarely used, 302 hours. Boat was always kept covered and out of water on a davit. The interior and the hull are in very good condition. Engine wouldn't start so I had a marine mechanic come over 2 weeks ago to assess. He told me that the battery was dead and rain water had made it's way into the bilge. After some work he was able to get it running. I have not been able to get it started since.
