This listing is for a 1986 Checkmate 21 Starflite that was disassembled for a restoration. To keep the price as low as possible we are selling the boat and trailer separate for those of you that want the boat only. There is no outboard included and the boat is being sold as it is shown. The trailer shown IS NOT included in the sale . We have included 40 large pictures below the ad to show you as much detail as possible as well as a description of condition. Our description of condition is based on a brief and casual inspection and is only to help you decide its value. You are welcome to inspect the boat in person if you wish to do so. It is located in Old saybrook, Ct 06475. The pictures are current and the boat is being sold as is in the condition shown. The transom looks solid but the decks have soft areas. The hull looks to have been painted but deck is original gel with a pealing clear coat. The hull below the chine is original gel coat, There are no obvious repairs that we noticed. The previous owner lost interest in this project and we are selling as is. The trailer is available for $750 additional if interested. You are welcome to come to our shop and inspect the boat anytime. We are located in Old Saybrook, Connecticut and open by appointment. At the end of the auction the winning bidder will need to send us a $200.00 non-refundable Pay-Pal deposit and contact us within 24 hours by phone or email to discuss payment/pick up with us. We have a state of Connecticut transferable registration for the boat that is ready to transfer. We have no paperwork for the trailer. The boat will need to be paid for in full and picked up within 7 days of auction ending unless you have made other arrangements with us for delivery.
