Sponberg, set out to recreate the look of a "roaring 20's" speedboat in a modern incarnation and succeeded with the Classic 20. Introduced in 2002, this boat had all the visual appeal of a classic wooden runabout but is made completely out of fiberglass! Even the wood deck topsides are a cleverly done fabric with a computer generated and died wood pattern encapsulated under a clear coat of glass!!
