We had made an error and the boat was listed as a 19 foot boat but it happens to be a 17 foot boat. This boat is for serious buyers only who have money, save your offers of $1,000 dollars and the cute ones that send offers of $1.00, I find it amusing how bored some people can be. Lets not waste anyone's time. Sun King is perhaps the rarest & most unique Chris Craft in existence! In the nine years preceding Pearl Harbor, Chris Craft built just 62 of the 17’ Triple Cockpit Runabouts. Over those production years, the 17’ Custom got more expensive, more luxurious and what became known as the “barrel back” stern became more pronounced. Truly a one-of-a-kind and rare Chris-Craft runabout and the only remaining example of just two ever produced. We spent some time poking around the inside and found most of the structure in excellent (and clean) condition. Also a very strait and true boat, a great find. That being said, we will begin by documenting everything carefully with photos, and by taking a video of any repairs that need to be made. All the chrome and gauges have been done. Some of the best mahogany I’ve seen in awhile also came with the boat, some pieces four inches thick and twenty inches wide. Try finding that now days. The Fireball power is already done and was restored to original specs. A new custom tandem trailer is already on order as well. This is not a long term project and we are doubtful you can get a comparable boat for this price as they are selling for well over $99,000 dollars and some of the most expensive up to $159,000. This is a diamond in the ruff a money maker, do not over pay on other boats when you can purchase this one for penny's on the dollar.
