Vessel is in very good condition with only a few very small separations in planking. Engine and transmission/ drive housing appear to be brand new. Although unable to confirm, owner states engine has less than 10 hours of run time. The Chris-Craft sits atop a Galvanized, single axle King Trailer that looks like its never touched water. Stock #361160 Beautifully restored 1941 Chris -Craft 18' Deluxe Utility 1941 Chris-Craft 18' Deluxe Utility. Wether you're a collector looking for your next piece or someone looking to turn heads on any body of water, look no further than this 1941 Chris-Craft 18" Deluxe Utility. This Deluxe was fully restored in 2018 before finding its new home with its current owner here in Southern California. During restoration the original power plant was replaced with a MerCruiser 470 (3.7L) I-4 thats said to produce 180hp. The Utility boasts a surprisingly spacious layout with seating for two in the cockpit and three at the stern. All of the cushions (including the addition of an "engine cover" cushion) were reupholstered in period appropriate materials/ patterns at time of restoration. Additionally, during restoration it's previous owner opted to replace the original "utility" Isinglass with Chris-Crafts "racing" Isinglass. This is your opportunity to own a timeless classic.

The owner reports the varnished mahogany hull and interior to be in very good overall condition. It could use some minor detailing to get into pristine / bristol condition. The owner also reports the engine is ready to hit the water. No damage reported. Stock #380304 Restored 1948 Chris-Craft 17 Deluxe! MUST SEE!! Motivated Seller - ALL reasonable OFFERS will be considered! Here we have a beautifully-kept vintage 1948 Chris-Craft 17 Deluxe. Only a second-owner boat. The owner purchased it way back in 1967 and has kept it in his family ever since. An extensive overhaul / restoration was completed in the late 1990s. In 1992 they installed a Chevy 4.0L V6 engine (190 HP) The original engine was only 130 HP. Always stored on a trailer in a garage when not in use. The 17 Deluxe model is a famous one. It has 2 bench seats front and back, similar to classic cars. Seating for up to 6 to 7 people. With the boat only weighing 1805 lbs, the 190 HP engine makes this beauty glide on top of the water. The seller is motivated - All reasonable offers will be considered. ---Short History on Chris-Craft boats--- " The origins of the Chris Craft Company date back to the 1870s when Christopher Columbus Smith built his first wood skiff at age 13, later joining his brother to produce wood runabouts and forming the Smith Ryan Boat Company. In 1927, Chris Smith's son Jay took control of the company, changing the name to Chris Craft and for the next 31 years became the world's largest producer of mahogany runabout boats. During WW2, Chris Craft aided the war effort by building over 12,000 military vessels including patrol boats, launches, and rescue vessels for the US Navy. With the end of the war came prosperity for many and Chris Craft benefitted by supplying speed boats that became popular at lakes throughout the upper Midwest and Northeast. Utilizing manufacturing efficiencies learned in wartime, Chris Craft was able to expand its market to both middle-class and wealthy owners." Reason for selling is not enough time to use the boat.

Up for sale is an extremely solid 1947 Chris Craft Deluxe Runabout. This boat is very complete with everything there. There is also an abundance of NOS and new partsfor rebuilding the engine, the engine is currently stripped down. There is a small soft spot on the starboard rear (see photo). There was also a very correct repair in thesame area on the port side rear. This boat will qualify for the recently created "Survivor Class" according to the ACBS. In my personal opinion none of the topsides need replaced.I am a preservationist and always strive for as much originality as possible. The chrome is also in very, very good original condition. Should it be re-chromed??? Im not really sure if I would or not. This a very easy boat to restore because it is so solid. I am only selling because I don't see any light at theend of my restoration project tunnel. If you are a "first-timer" the ease and value is definetely there. It has been stored and owned by the same family for over 40+ years. The original trailer does come with it even though its not in the photos. But I would load the whole thing on a larger trailer, FYI. PLEASE DO NOT HIT THE "BUY IT NOW" OPTION WITHOUT CALLING FIRST! Any and all serious questions please call:330-328-3052Thank you,Dan

Very nice original boat in user condition that I've owned for 25 yrs and 2 complete strip and refinishes, however, at some point in the boats history someone changed the hatch cover to what looks like teak and had removed the front seat and made it a wrap around configuration with a gastly captains chair. I put the seating back in its proper order but had no idea what the exact build was. The boat has its original high performance KFL 131 twin updraft carb. Hercules engine. The engine has been rebuilt 500 hrs "estimate" ago and runs perfectly. The bottom is also original and in good condition and not destroyed by West System cold molded lay-ups, fiberglass, 5200 etc. but that's for you to decide. I have a piece of matching leather for the dashboard just never got around to pulling the gauges and trim. The boat is in need of refinishing which I will do when time permits, but will raise the price to what these boats now demand in great condition. Older but functional waterline cover and tandem trailer included. I recommend that you come and see it before bidding it will always look better in pictures and in my mind. Please don't bid unless you have perfect feedback or a good excuse...it's not hard.
