This 2001 Carolina classic model 28 is a 28' sportfish/convertable that comes with a pair of 2001 Yanmar Inboard/Outboard 315hp engines! This Carolina Classic comes with three batteries and charger, short power, auto pilot, Raymarine electronics, a Yanmar Generator, Radar, and full cabin! The cabin has a head, microwave, and sink. Up top, there are bail wells, and everything you would expect for a full sized fishing vessel! This one does not have a trailer yet we may be able to obtain a new trailer if desired. Reason for selling is ready to sell.

Designed by naval architect Lomakhine under plans inspired from Nicholson the original sloop has been transformed in 1960 in a yawl in order to facilitate the sail navigation. Remarkably maintained by its various owners (5 in 81 years including 35 years for the current owner), this boat has enjoyed over the last thirty years of a complete restoration and the installation of many navigation equipment and comfort. This outstanding classic boat with the original teak wood hull like new, plain teak deck, plain maogani and teak inside is today in excellent condition.

A good size beam and cockpit for 4-5 anglers. Upper helm deck has a nice curved lounge and a double helm seat and plenty of visibility. Engine room access is amazing as the whole hatch raises up higher than any other express on the market. The upper helm deck also has a hatch to do simple engine room checks.
