1982 Cape Dory 33
This is the Carl Alberg designed Cape Dory 33 cruising sloop with full keel and attached rudder to the trailing edge of the keel. Great for cruising long distance in all types of weather. This is a high aspect ratio rig and a performance type full keel, therefore she performs well in all conditions. Her pleasing sheer, moderate freeboard and low coach roof silhouette give her a look of genuine beauty. Her beam is carried well aft, providing more room in the interior and in the cockpit. The cockpit coamings have been doubled up and really add to the beauty of this great Cape Dory. This boat spent 19 years on Lake Geneva in Wisconsin and has been a fresh water boat all her life. The current owner purchased her in 2012 and has done extensive upgrades to the boat including new electronics, hull and deck paint, reconditioned teak, windlass anchor, new wiring and electrical system, new Westerbeke diesel with minimal hours, new fuel system, and more! Below decks will reveal a boat that stands apart from most other production sailboats. Cape Dory's craftsmen, in the New England tradition have used rich teak with careful joiner work to produce a warm and inviting interior. The included trailer was built in 1993 and is a heavy duty, triple axel with all new tires and bearings in the fall of 2011.
