I did extensive research before I purchased this Cobalt. I read every report, I watched all the videos, and most importantly, I went and drove all the boats. I drove Sea Ray, Bayliner, Chaparral, Formula, Mastercraft, along with several others. The decision was easy, anyone who has driven a Cobalt understands the difference. They are expensive but worth every penny. As an example, when you make a sharp long turn in the competitors boats you must increase the throttle to maintain the speed, the Cobalt remains constant with no throttle changes. Everyone who has experience with multiple manufactures all agree the Cobalt is the smoothest, safest, and quickest hall design in its class. My Cobalt will run 10mph faster than the competitors, slow down to 35 and you have a smooth, quite, easy running boat that is stable and enjoyable for everyone on board. I bought the boat to town my kids and grandkids on their wake boards, the heavy twin creates a perfect wake they love! The 302 is a big boat, but it turns on a dime and jumps out of the water when you hit the throttles. The twin engines make it easy to load on the trailer or pull up to a dock. I never want to go back to a single engine again. The 302 I am selling is both rare and famous, it was built for the CEO of Cobalt and came with the new Volvo Twin 8.1 GXI 420 PHP a year before the engine was available. Cobalt used my boat for the corporate website, you can see multiple photos of the boat on their website. http://www.cobaltboats.com/our_boats/302/index.php#.VSxH2md0yUk I purchased the boat 8 months ago brand new, it was manufactured in 2013 and used for corporate photos, but I was the official first buyer on the boat. My 302 comes with a 5 year warrantee that covers just about everything from front to back, and the warrantee started when I bought the boat, not when it was manufactured. The Cobalt service teams are legendary, it is similar to buying a Bentley, they jump and come to you whenever you need them. I have driven the boat approx. 10 times, I don't know how many hours are on it, but I am guessing less than 50 total. The boat was $259,838.00 + taxes, obviously my Cobalt 302 is loaded! It has the upgraded carpet, the patented swim platform that drops down into the water, the vacuflush toilet, the premium sound (I have never heard better!), the windlass, the fridge, Color GPS, the SS Arch with Hard Top, swim transom lighting, remote courtesy lights with the key fob, on and on and on. It also has all the cushions to fill in the front area along with a number of great features like a built in air pump when you want to tow someone on a tube. This boat is loaded, it is like new, has full warrantee, and......everything you would ever want or dream of in a family boat including a shore power connection and 110 on the boat. It has been kept inside and out of the water sense it was new. It has only been in fresh water, even though it has the salt water kit. The Trailer is brand new, it has 10 miles on it. It was the best I could buy, I will include it with the boat purchase. There are only a few good deals that come along in life, this is your moment if you are a real buyer. My wife filed for divorce and I am mad! I am real mad and I am liquidating everything! You want to buy an amazing boat at a great price, your lucky day has arrived.
