This boat is clean and shows normal wear befitting its model year/age, and the seller reports the mechanical / electrical features function as intended. The seller reports the boat was recently checked out by a local boat mechanic and anything that needed to be updated or replaced was done so at that time. This included a new starter motor, a new trim cylinder pump, and new bellows. The dash gauges work but the covers are very weathered/faded and need replacing. There are no snap-in carpets available with this boat. The seller also reports there is no insert for the V-berth to convert the dinette to a bed. As of 2/27/23, the boat will be parked in a covered slip at the marina - the slip is transferable. The local representative took all the photos and videos of this listing and they accurately reflect the current condition of the boat and its primary features. Stock #330526 Never In Salt Water Twin Mercruisers This Chaparral Signature 280 is powered by Twin Mercruiser 4.3L MPI engines that deliver 220 hp each to get you where you want to go quickly and effortlessly. The onboard Kohler generator 5.0KW - has low hours and shows very little wear. The boat is a great layout for family fun - is loaded and in very good condition. Simrad electronics plus all gauges and switches are in good condition. The boat fires right up and runs smoothly. The cockpit comfortably seats up to 8 adults and there is room to move around - with the sun pad on the bow a great spot for catching some rays! The large spotlight at the bow is controlled with joystick control at the helm, plus the windlass has foot pad controls at the bow and button controls at the helm. The bench captain's seat has a bolster and there is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the ride in the cockpit. If you like a great sound system this boat is for you! They recently installed an entirely custom sound system with subs, woofer, and more! Down below the cabin is warm and inviting with the simulated wood plank flooring and rich wood finishes. The forward V-berth is comfortable and roomy. The dinette quickly converts into a third sleeping space and the aft berth has room for 2 adults as well. The galley is fully equipped with a microwave, a single burner electric stove top, a round sink, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment inside. The head is opposite the control panel and features a wet head, with a sink/shower combo and a large mirror and porthole for natural light. The toilet is a Dometic with a Vacuflush system. The boat has a pressurized water system with a 6-gallon hot water heater in the engine compartment. The engine compartment is below the aft portion of the cockpit. The hatch opens quickly and easily and the twin Mercruiser 4.3L engines appear to be in excellent condition. The 3 batteries are in good condition as well. There is an onboard battery tender unit and an engine compartment heater for cold winter days. The electrical (battery switches) are all in one location just after you enter the boat to the port side. The transom door - also is home to the transom shower with hot and cold running water for a quick wash down on the swim platform. There is a large storage compartment on the transom accessible from the swim platform that has the shore power connections and raw water washdown and access to fill the freshwater tank or hook up to city water. Thumper is available again!!! This Sea Ray Sundancer is just under 40 ft length overall. She is powered by recently rebuilt twin 7.4 liter Mercrusier V dirves. She carries a 7.5 KW Quick Silver(Generac) generator. The boat carries approximately 230 gallons of fuel, 40 gallons of fresh water and 30 gallon waste tank. The cockpit and helm are completely enclosed by a full height camper top with clear windows all around. This allows for year round use. A small ceramic heater will keep the cockpit comfortable even in cold weather. There is new carpet in the cockpit and helm. A wet bar with ice maker is located in cockpit. The cabin has a new wood laminate floor. The floor is easy to clean and does not hold oders. The interior lighting has been converted to LED. The head is a vacuum flush system. The galley has a dual voltage refrigerator, 3 burner stove, and a microwave. The forward stateroom has a queen size bed. The aft stateroom can be converted to bedroon or used as a conversation pit.
