This Glastron is in nice condition. It is stored on a lift. The engine runs well according to the seller. It has not been used regularly since purchased. The systems will need to be checked for proper operation. The vinyl seating is mostly intact, but a few seams are loose. Air Conditioner! 2005 Glastron GS 279 Sport Cruiser This is a nice Express cruiser. designed to be trailerable with her 8'6" beam, the 279 is one of the larger trailerable mid-cabin express cruisers available. This Express cruiser is well equipped and affordably priced. Glastons were designed with an emphasis on cockpit space for family comfort. There is a doublewide helm/aft-facing seat that converts into a sun pad. A roomy sun lounge is opposite the helm, and there's a removable bench seat at the transom. Additional features include a cockpit sink, an integral swim platform, and a walk-through windshield. Below decks, the cabin of the GS 279 is compact but nicely arranged and has 6' 2" headroom, with a dinette forward that converts to a v berth with a new custom mattress, a head with shower, a galley, and a mid-berth aft with sitting headroom. The cabin has an air conditioner! This is a nice handling boat with a single 280hp Volvo Penta sterndrive engine. Reason for selling is moving.

Outside, the helm features a well-arranged dash and sports a tilt steering wheel, easy-to-read gauges, a Garmin 10" color GPS-chartplotter. and a Raymarine VHF marine radio. Captain and companion ride on comfortable double-wide adjustable helm seat with pop-up bolsters. In the cockpit, there are forward and aft-facing upholstered sofas with removable table. Remove the table and flip up the cushions and the area converts to a sun pad. A large retractable bimini top shades riders from the sun. For suntanning the outdoor table drops down and filler cushions create a large sunpad. The engine hatch lifts easily thanks to gas struts, and it’s lined with thick, sound-dampening foam for quiet running engines. The only downside was traditional stuffing boxes on the shaft coming from a V-drive transmission. Cruisers now uses driplers shaft seals. The 3375 has foredeck access through the windshield, (rather than via the sidedecks on the 3370), and her interior has a tri-cabin layout with a salon/dining area amidships. The galley comes complete with dual-voltage refrigerator/freezer, microwave oven, two-burner cooktop and coffee maker, making her a realistic cruiser for week-long journeys.
