2002 Sea Ray 280 Sundancer, Sea Ray is known as one of the premium boats available today. This boat has been very well cared for and looks like a less than 1 year old boat. The extremely thick fiberglass looks new. The seats look new. The engines, generator, and air conditioner look new. The 3 deep cycle marine batteries have been replaced just this month. The pictures are not great pictures, they accurately display the appearance of this boat. This boat is an overall 31 feet in length with swim platform. It is the extremely popular 280 Sundancer cabin cruiser. It has its own sleeper berth or two sleeper berths depending on how you set it up. Its air conditioner cools to 15 degrees less than the water temperature that circulates thru the unit- it cools comfortably even on the warmest day. It has a microwave, stove, refrigerator, and bathroom/ shower. It has a like new Kohler 4500 watt generator. The engines are twin Mercruiser 4.3 liter EFI (electronic fuel injected) engines and have about 350 hours on each and show no wear. With these engines there is ample power and despite the air conditioner, generator, and other amenities the boat will plane easily. It has an electric anchor which is deployed and retrieved from the driving position. In the pictures you can see mounted by the steering wheel a Hummingbird 998c GPS and fishing system. This $1,800 option lets you know where you are on the lake at all times. Not only that but it keeps up with where you've been so you can recall a favorite destination. When you are on the lake your surroundings can all look the same. This keeps you certain of your location and where you want to go. It displays depth, water temperature, and speed data as well. It features numerous sonar driven screens capable of letting you know 115 feet to either side and under the boat where fish are located if you ae a fisherman. The swim platform has a retractable swim ladder that's easily deployed and retracted. My family has spent many days and nights on this boat. My wife configured the front sitting area into a big comfortable bedroom for us and our daughter designed the rear sleeper for her and her friends. If you should want our dock space as well, it comes with a patio which is set up with a table, canopy, and dock boxes for storage. This is a great setup for those who want to spend the maximum amount of time on the lake. The dock space can be negotiated with the boat purchase if desired. If you are thinking about buying a boat for your family this is one you'll want to look at. These boats cost in excess of $200,000 new and you would be getting one that looks new and performs like new for the price of a pontoon boat. Why stay in a RV when you can spend your time floating blissfully on the lake. $37500

2007 Bayliner 285, Compared with Bayliner's previous cruisers, the edges at the transom are softer and there's an aerodynamic slope to the foredeck. Sometimes that slope can make us feel like we're running downhill to tend lines, but the nonskid finish and two-foot- high bow rail kept our forward movement safe. The design lends volume to the cabin yet looks sleek from outside. You could argue that volume is the most vital facet of an overnighter, much of it to do with beam and headroom. At 9 feet 11 inches, the 285's beam is only one inch shy of Chaparral's 31-foot 310 Signature. The aft cockpit has room for facing couches, and we measured clearance under the standard radar arch at 6 feet 8 inches. By using a curved couch instead of an l-arrangement to port, traffic space is noticeably wide from the aft cockpit to the cabin. Belowdecks, the side windows and a large overhead hatch allowed so much natural illumination that we never turned on the lights. Rather than a traditional salon to starboard, we found a dinette (designed like a booth at a diner), which converts to a small bed. The size of the dinette/sleeper does impugn the forward berth some, but the berth is still big enough for a happily married couple. If the galley is a couple of inches narrow, it's because of the size of the aft berth. This is one of the only sub-30 sport cruisers that we've tested in which the mid-stateroom is private, as in has a wall and door. Behind the door is a hanging closet and a bed so big I'd prefer it to the master. This is a one owner fresh water boat. For more information please call 479-925-1199. No hour meter
