These engines that are rated at 480 HP each that provide a solid 25-26 knot cruise and a top end of over 30 knots for her smooth-riding Deep "V" hull. The Formula 41 PC was produced by Formula Boats from 1998 to 2004 and typical of this Manufacturer over the years, this popular model also features excellent styling, construction & finish and provides both a big interior and cockpit area .. all of which combined to make the "41PC" a true market success story. 1985 Contest 36S The KIRIN is an excellent example of the CONTEST 36S model that was first introduced in 1984. Built by the renowned CONYPLEX of Holland, that Company's long-term tradition and reputation of building top-notch sailing yachts since 1960 was certainly further enhanced. The new "C36S" was the first of the true performance-oriented designs offered for the benefit of cruising sailors who desired this modern benefit as available with up-to-date hull shapes, sail plans and manufacturing techniques and materials. The CONTEST 36S was constructed with a balsa-core hull, one of the first in Europe to do so along with other models by BALTIC of Finland. With her aggressive sail plan, the C36S was an overnight success on & off the race course and set new standards for the popular "cruiser-racer" classification that combined structural integrity and high levels of interior joinery fit & finish that Dutch builders are famous for both then and now! The KIRIN is hull #209 and was produced in the Fall of 1984 as a 1985 model. She has had only four Owners to the present date. Purchased by her present Owner in the Summer of 2008, the KIRIN has continued to be both lightly-used as well as thoughtfully maintained. The innate qualities of build, performance and "features & benefits" of the CONTEST 36S are the principle characteristics that have served to attract sailors over the years who desire an offshore-capable yacht with a modern rig & deck plan, a roomy aft-cabin interior and good performance too. 1998 Nautor Swan SWAN 44 Mk II The CALLISTO is easily the finest and most sophisticated example of this popular German Frers design to be presented on the brokerage market for quite some time. The very successful SWAN 44 Mk II was first introduced in 1996 until production was ended in 2002 with a total of (69) Swan 44 Mk I / II examples being produced. Delivered to her first Owners as the WENDEN in the Fall of 1998 and now as the CALLISTO for her second Owners in 2007, this SWAN 44 Mk II is the 38th example produced and the 19th "Mk II". The CALLISTO is an impressively-nice presentation with her beautiful Dark Blue gelcoat topsides, properly-maintained teak decks and with the usual superb NAUTOR varnished teak interior. A number of features incorporated at her time of build by NAUTOR combine to uniquely position the CALLISTO from her peers that result in her enhanced performance, the improved ability to be managed by a light crew and with custom interior details for added utility & comfort.
