1975 Custom 53 x 18, Designed and built in 1975 by Richard H. Joyce. It served on Harriman reservoir in Wilmington, Vermont for 33 years, carrying thousands of busloads of people. This boat was never Coast Guard inspected, and due to regulation changes by the Coast Guard on round pontoons it is no longer insurable for carrying passengers for hire. It is ideal as a house boat on protected waters or as a dock or boat house. The pontoons are steel, 45 inches in diameter, with 5 plus airtight compartments in each pontoon, with two mismatched diesel IOs. It has an oil furnace for heat. the boat is 53 feet long and 18 feet wide, and a 30in draft at the propellers.
