Loudoun was built the old fashion way - no plywood, no epoxy. She is coated on the hull with several coats of coal tar. Her deck and superstructure are coated with a mixture of pine tar and linseed oil. She has also a dagger board. She is built of native pine and galvanized fastening. Her engine is an outboard Tohastu 15hp with a special rudder, allowing her to sail. Please contact me for more details.
