For a few years, the legendary offshore racing and performance fishing boat maker decided to build an express cruiser like everyone else. Only because they were Donzi, it didn't turn out like everyone else. This has been called the Lexus of Express Cruisers. When you see the fit and finish of the interior, buttery soft upholstery, the burled walnut instrument panel, you'll know you're at the helm of an American classic. When you feel what 600 horsepower can do with a 32 foot hull with a racing heritage, you'll know its a Donzi. Think Waverunner that can take the whole family. Yeah, its a Donzi for grownups. Grownups who don't want anyone to know they are responsible adults. Responsible features include a macerating holding tank, single pedal flushing head (no pumping), engine room fire suppression system, cabin CO monitor, power windlass, full cockpit sun protection to keep the little ones from sunburn, and full eisenglass enclosed helm with zip out windshields so you can bring em back in the rain. The generator powers the climate control system to keep it nice and cool below, or warm if necessary with reverse cycle. Oh, and everything runs just fine in the slip too, with shore power, either 30 or 50 amp. There is a camper enclosure for the cockpit that has only been used to keep the cockpit dry while maintaining the engines in the rain. Everything that can be covered with canvas has a cover. There's even a tonneau so you don't have to leave the cockpit out in the rain. It's a little tired, but completely serviceable. The carpet below is removable. Even the helm and cockpit have removable carpet. Three massive two-year-old batteries keep the lights and fridge (which also works fine on AC power) on at anchor and start you up when you have to go home. Of course, the generator can charge the main engines’ starting batteries if you forget and leave the lights on. The generator has its own fume vent system independent of the main engines'. This boat I had painted 3 years ago and looks great could use a good cleaning the 383 Mercruiser engines are 2 years and have 10 months full warranty left on factory warranty they are 350 hp each with 425 foot pounds of tork they run perfect just had full service done 6 hours ago the hour meters say 30 hours but I put them in after a trip to key west so its more like 80 hours on each they burn around 12 gallons per hour at a cruising speed of 24 to 28 mph with a top speed at 4900 rpms of 48 mph its a very fast cruiser for its size it has fairly new batteries 2 engine battery and one house and has 6 new 6volt batteries for the 2000 watt inverter charger has electric out on the water has a 1 year old 16000 btu ac with heat 6 gal water heater it will sleep 6 front bed aft bed and mid table bed I also have the complete camper glass enclose but when I had it painted they took all the snaps off the boat so you could put them back on and pull the enclose tighter it is a 4 year old enclose with ensoglass cost at that time was 4300.00 it should last for years also the trailer has all new disc brakes rotors and calipers also new electric over hyd master cyd as I said there are a few things that could be fixed but it is in put in the water and go condition I need to sell have a bigger boat in the marina and need to sell the donzi . newer motors and the bravo 3 drives are in excellent condition

1999 Donzi Z 275 LXC The boat is a 29 foot Donzi inboard/outboard with a 7.4l 454 MerCruiser V8, counter-rotating propeller. The boat is in overall excellent condition. It was a one owner boat since 1999 in the Chicago Harbor (prior registration paperwork indicated it was owned by an older gentleman who lived next to Oprah in WaterTower place in Chicago). We purchased the boat in July, 2015 and recently found out that we are moving out west, to the desert, which is the reason for us selling. We've very much enjoyed the boat and it has been an excellent runner. Before we purchased the boat, an engine tune up was done, with a new distributor cap, wires, water pump and pulley. The boat starts on the first crank and has never let us down. 2 weeks ago we cruised from Racine, WI throughout Door County for a week without incident. In addition to the all the factory equipment working perfectly, the boat also has a Kicker Comp 10" subwoofer with a 680 watt amp for listening pleasure. The boat cruises between 25 - 35 mph between 3000 - 3500 rpm. Overall, the boat burns between 12.5 - 22 gallons per hour, depending on speed/rpm. Details about the boat: The boat has a full cockpit enclosure 103 gallon fuel tank 30 gallon fresh water tank 7 gallon hot water tank (works well) All plumbing works well Automatic marine toilet and 30 gallon holding tank All carpet and upholstery in good condition, except for the rear seat, which has a minor hole/tear in a corner. Boat was buffed/detailed in July, 2015 Trim tabs work well Trim on outboard motor works well 454 V8 drives like a champ and will drive the boat in the mid 40's at wide open throttle The GPS / Fish finder is dated, but works fine Boat had new bottom paint in July, 2015 The boat does not have an hour meter (which was strangely an option...) When I inquired with the original owner, apparently he plugged the motor into a machine which can read hours (?) and he recalled the hour meter reading between 300-400 hours. It appears the boat has had minimal use and is in overall excellent condition. We are continually using the boat since the weather is still cooperating!
