Overall this boat has had excellent care. The hull is in good condition for a boat of its age. It has spent its days on a trailer, out of the water, when not in use, the owner confirms. The Load Master dual axle aluminum trailer is in great condition with torsion bar suspension and new tires recently, and includes a spare. The interior of the boat is in good shape although the passenger seat (port side) has been removed to provide more fishing space. The helm seat has also been replaced with a heavy-duty aluminum double-wide leaning post. Everything about this boat has been set up for fishing and is in really nice shape for its age. The Simrad GPS-chartplotter-fishfinder and the Suzuki digital gauge package provide you with all the information you need to locate the big ones. You won't be disappointed in this one. Stock #353772 Simrad Electronics, Raw and Fresh Water Washdown!! 2018 Suzuki 200 4-Stroke Engine!! In the early 2000s marine writer Frank Sargeant wrote, "Just what the heck is a family-friendly fishing boat? Usually, it's a fishing-family failure that fits neither bill well. But Hydra-Sports' new 202 DC scores high in both departments - it has the potential to make everyone from hardcore kingfishers to spike-haired kneeboarders happy." This 202 DC has a custom-built canvas top on a heavy-duty "half-tower" aluminum frame that also serves as a secure "grab bar" in rough conditions The port console has a large enclosed head compartment with 3' 6" of headroom that easily accommodates women and kids. (You'll need to add the porta-potty.) The bow platform sports good elevation for fish spotting as well as an insulated fish box big enough to handle a full day's catch. And there is a capstan that makes "hauling anchor" a breeze. Add some upholstery and this area becomes a conversation pit, complete with padded backrests. The transom fulfills a dual mission: The 36-gallon oval livewell in the center makes anglers happy while an integrated swim platform with a flip-down stainless-steel boarding ladder is useful to water skiers, boarders, and swimmers. Skis and kneeboards-or tackle boxes and gaffs fit neatly into an 8'-long, 1-3/4'-deep locker in the center of the sole. On either side of the motor well are padded jump seats and drink holders. All hatches on the 202 DC are a composite of fiberglass and foam, and all are secured with piano-type hinges. The stringers and the transom are rot-proof composites, and the boat's running surfaces are reinforced with Kevlar. All hoses are double-clamped, and all through-hulls were replaced and enlarged in 2018, the owner confirms. Again, back when it was new Sargeant called this boat "a crowd-pleasing combo platter." If you're looking for a great boat for fishing and family fun that is reasonably priced - this is the one. You won't be disappointed in this one. Reason for selling is went bigger.
