For Sale: 1978 Egg Harbor. I got the boat in 2012. The boat was gotten at a boat yard that had done, new through haul fittings, new shafts, and new bottom paint. I have also done a lot of work to the boat. I have fixed the dry rot in the flying bridge, and the front window area that had dry rot, and the starboard side that had some dry rot, and the deck on starboard side. I had not done anything to the port side yet. I have unhooked the wiring to the motors to rewire it. I was finding wires that went no where, so I was just going to rewire it. The boat is about 75% complete, and it was a lot of work to this point, but with more work it will be a great boat. I did drive the boat from where it come from to the slip it is in now, and the motors run great, and does not smoke. The boat can be started but I would have to plug off the oil lines that are unhooked form the panels. But again the motors do run great. I have to sell the boat my family is in need of my help, and I have to sell the boat the cost of shipping the boat to my new place is way out there. I do have copies of the boat yard bills, and pictures of the work that I did from start to finish. For Sale: 1978 Egg Harbor. This Egg Harbor for sale. I got the boat a while back. The boat has new shafts, new through haul fittings. I also have done a lot of work to the boat. I have done boat repair for many years, I have had bigger boats then this one. The repairs that I had done would have cost a lot of money, if the work was done by a boat yard. I did use the best products on the market to do the repairs. The boat is in good shape, the boat is about 75% restored. It will need some more work to be complete, to get the boat finished. The boat does run well, at this time just the wiring is unhooked, I was rewiring the boat. I have gotten some done, but will need more to finish the job. I do have many photos of the before, and after work. I will be glad to send you the pictures. for a boat that can be bought for a fair price. If you are looking for a boat that you do not mind fixing up then this is for you. If you are just looking for a good deal and want something fixed up then this is not for you. I do have copies of the boat yard bill from 2011 and 2012 to prove the work that was done, as well as the photos I took the before and after photos of the work I did. So do not waist my time and yours, if you are a buyer who has read this add then you know what you are bidding on. I do not want to sell the boat, but me and my wife will be moving soon, and do not think that me moving will get you a better deal.
