2015 Torqeedo Cruise 2.0 R long The Torqeedo 2.0 CL is a German built electric outboard for a long shaft transom. It runs on a 24 volt system. We use two Deep Cycle Marine batteries Series 27 to power our Torqeedos. This has the same push power as a 4 hp gas motor. It receives a standard steering tube for today's steering systems, and it comes with a digital binacle control with magnetic key.These are the nicest electric motors money can by. They are quiet, powerful, safe, and run a long time on a charge. We have been installing them on our mini pontoons.
