One-of-a-kind 2018 Formula 382 SR-1 Center Console Cuddy. This boat isn't supposed to exist, but here it is! Converted to triple 350 Verados.
Do you want a boat that no one else in the world can have? Then you've found your boat. If you know Formula boats, you're looking at this thinking, "But Formula never made a 382 SR-1 center console!" and you'd be right. The SR-1 line by Formula was a twin inboard / outboard high performance cuddy. But what if it could be something else entirely?
The seller is a very talented fiberglass technician who spent a huge amount of time reworking this boat into what you see here - a triple outboard powered center console cuddy. The decks were redone in foam cored fiberglass. A larger fuel tank was installed, and a center console and leaning post were adapted from a donor boat to fit the narrower SR-1 hull. All new two-tone grey gelcoat was applied. The three 2018 Mercury 350 Verado engines, also from a donor boat, are attached to the transom via a very stout custom-made aluminum transom bracket. All topside upholstery is new and there is SeaDek cushioned decking on every surface your feet may touch.
The helm is a clean and functional design with two 12" Garmin screens and the Mercury Smartcraft display providing engine data, navigation, radar, and fish finding wherever you need it. A Garmin VHF radio is also included. Steering is hydraulic with an electric boost pump and the engine controls are digital for a complete fly-by-wire system.
A custom sound system rounds out the cockpit with twelve DS18 marine speakers, including two subwoofers and two pods mounted to the hard top, powered by two separate amplifiers and a Fusion head unit. Battery power is split between a set of three starting batteries for the motors with their own, independent charger and another set of four house batteries in the helm console with a Minn Kota charging system.
The cuddy cabin on this vessel is long, making up about half the length, and features blue leather upholstered couches and white everywhere else. The blue leather upholstery is the only original upholstery in the entire boat. The headliners are new with blue / white LED lighting built in. A small galley provides a fridge, microwave, sink, and trash receptacle. The head does have a shower, though for most, it would be a crouching or sitting shower. Waste can be pumped out at the dock or dumped offshore with the macerator pump. A V-berth provides space to sleep two people and the air conditioning will keep you cool while plugged into shore power or hooked up to a portable generator.
This custom 2018 Formula 382 SR-1 comes with a 2022 custom trailer. The trailer has been serviced by the seller and has electric brakes to make stopping this hefty package easy. At an only 8 '3" beam, this boat is easily trailered without a permit, and is only 9500 lbs dry, making it easy to manage with a 3/4 ton truck, or even possibly a newer 1/2 ton truck with a higher towing capacity.
