2003 Fountain 23 Tournament (25'8"). Mercury 250 EFI. Simard NSS 8 with side scan. Tandem aluminum trailer. $23,900.00. This boat was built to compete in the 23' and under SKA tournaments. I think they measured them from the waterline or something like that. Only trade I would be interested in is a tower bay boat (I have cash to move up to the $50k range). This is the Tournament model, three piece construction hull, not to be confused with the 25 open. The hour gauge does not work, I just had my mechanic plug it in to the computer and he said it had 366 hours (buyer can talk to the mechanic, Pete at Ozona Shores Marina). Pete just did a full service including new thermostats, water pump and filters as well as clean the fuel system). Runs great, this is a fuel injected engine so starts at the turn of the key every time and no carburetors to clean. the only thing I have had to replace on the boat was the trim motor for the Mercury about 2 months ago. The compression is very good. Again, feel free to talk to the mechanic or have your own look at it.The Simard has both a side scan transducer and thru hull unit ($2300.00). 50 gallon livewellStereo (nothing great but works, I don't really use it)VHFSimrad 8 inch touch screen chart plotter and bottom machine.Stainless propNew T-Top canvas (black).Very nice upgraded wind shield (see photos).Nice huge fish box and cooler.2 Bilge pumps3 month old batteries.Spreader lights and inside hull lights. Its a really great riding boat and efficient as offshore boats go. The only thing I was considering changing is the gauges (the lenses are cloudy like headlights get but you can still read the tach).Runs wide open in the upper 40s but I have seen 51 with a very light load. Mainly I cruise at 34-36 MPH very comfortably. The boat is on a lift so sea trials are easy just call Chris at 813-695-6754Keywords Contender, Scarab, Donzi, Competition, SKA, Kingfish, Single engine offshore, sea hunt hunter, grouper, Fountain, Yellowfin, Seacraft, Sea Craft, Seavee, Sea Vee.
