2017 Four Winns TS242, Our TS Series, along with Volvo Penta's revolutionary Forward Drive system (this one comes with a 300 v-8 w/ Duo-Prop outdrive), achieves the ultimate in sport boating. With the quick fill ballast (1800 lbs.) the hull is placed deep into the water for the wake enhancement surf tabs to do their handy work. Empty the ballast, hit the throttle and adjust the drive to enjoy the ride that a stern drive boat provides. The touch screen command center is a high-tech and stylish touch screen provided by Medallion that delivers all-purpose functionality to your boat and wake. This boat was built from the ground-up to be one of the most advanced multi-use boats on the market (unlike some of our competitors that simply turned their standard stern drive models into forward drives and slapped a few pieces of surf hardware onboard), providing our owners with a boat that can truly surf (it easily provides a 10 to 14 ft. "sweet spot") while being comfortable enough for the usual family outing (of course wrapped in luxurious refinement that Four Winns customers have come to expect) and maintaining a price point that is sure to please the CFO in your family.There is room for 14 onboard and the front bow area easily converts to a comfortable "mosh" pit for sunning, lounging or just keeping the little ones secure during surfing activities.
