1967 Hatteras 34 Sport Fisherman - Fully restored You simply can't find another 34 Hatteras like this one! This classic sport fisherman has been fully restored by a well known boat builder to modern standards in 2015. Twin 315hp Yanmars are brand new with less than 100 hours. A brand new tower with upper controls was built for this boat. She is loaded with Electronics including 2 Garmin 7212, open array radar and much much more. Brand new generator, brand new ac units, every stone was unturned with complete new wiring and plumbing. The interior is all custom made out of quality hard woods, teak and holly. A large shower was built in. A galley up configuration was added so there are bunks below. This boat is truly amazing in every way. LED lighting thru out and a very nice stereo system! Classic Hatteras 34 Sportfish, project boat, needs TLC. Own a piece of yachting history, 1963 was the first year Hatteras produced yachts. Twin diesels, 6.5L GM engines by Peninsular plus 5kW Kohler generator. Two 8D batteries, plus a 24d house battery. Interior is in decent shape. Hull was recently painted with Awlgrip. Topside needs some TLC. lots of mahogany Brightwork. Has windlass, cushions for the back deck, bimini top with full eisenglass enclosure, outriggers. USCG documentation number. "Olde Hatte" The boat is my father's. He bought it to restore, but it's too much project due to age and health. Boat is currently in the water.

For sale is a classic bulletproof Hatteras hull being converted to a Carolina Styled Express. The Hatteras requires finishing from the stringers up, along with power. Remaining are the fuel tanks, water tank, and engine mounts for Cat 3208s. 34' 2" in length, 12' 6" beam with a draft of 36" the boat is a one piece molded fiberglass hull. Designed by J.B. Hargrave, legendary marine architect and a pioneer of fiberglass boat construction. Hargrave Hatts were noted for their comfortable, dry ride and maneuverability. The fiberglass Hatteras' of the 1960's created a new class of boats coined convertibles. The specs of the original 34SC stated comfortable cruising speed of 35mph with top speeds over 40mph.
