1999 Chaparral 2835 SS
High performance deep-vee hull with twin Mercruisers makes this a great boat for waterskiing, wakeboarding, tubing while also having a huge cockpit with plenty of seating for friends & family outside with an enclosed head and overnight accommodations for two down below. With a top speed in the upper 50's this boat will get you to Block Island or Claudio's quickly and the deep-vee hull will get you home safely & comfortably when the afternoon sea breeze kicks up the chop. A full cockpit enclosure extends the northeast boating season from early spring to late fall.
1988 Hickman 33 Custom
Built in 1989 in Mystic, Ct, where the legendary Hickman Sea Sleds originated, she survives to prove the legend is true. Clearly the source of the Boston Whaler cathedral hull, (Nothing Is New...), the Hickman's were as ahead of their time as Herreshoff's catamarans were back in the day.
This marvelous example was launched in 1989, sea-trialed to meet expectations, and has been in secure storage ever since.
We launched her the summer of 2014 to make sure all was well. She behaved splendidly and is now back in storage, awaiting an adventurous owner with a will to re-live history.
