At 40 We achieve 2.5 MPG and at 30 Nearly 3 MPG. This boat is very stable at high speed and handles well.  200 Gal fuel. 40 Gal live well, Fish boxes, Forward cuddy and Head area.  Sea Deck on gunnels and deck.  Here is a testimonial from a previous owner of one of the older sit down models.   Back in 1987 I had the good fortune to purchase a 10 meter Hydra Tech catamaran speedboat. It was a very pretty pink boat that drew raves.Because it wsr equipped with 3 outboardsit had a huge cockpit holding 10 or 12 passengers and was always full. It was my first experience driving a catamaran and the sit down ride has spoiled me for sheer comfort. I know cats are most enjoyed in calm waters but Barnegat  Bay is usually nasty on the weekend as the south wind is always blowing and the wake from all of the boats creates quite large swells.but that never kept me at home as the boat handled all conditions.
