2007 Hydra-Sports 3300VX This 2007 Hydra-Sports 3300VX is one of the best laid out express outboard fishing machines on the market today. With smart planning and design, the builders were able to fit a lot of features in a manageable-size package that rivals even some 40ft+ expresses. Starting in the cockpit, on either side you can find locking rod holders under the gunwales and huge access to the large bilge flanked by protected yet convenient fuel tank switches. The lazarette is covered, but opens to a large live well with plexiglas lid in the center and a raw-water sink with cutting board lid to starboard. The port side of the lazarette is a walk-though door to access the motor well, and to center and starboard is a flip seat. Moving forward to the helm deck, two center-line helm seats with flip down bolsters face the gauges, switch panel, and electronics. This boat is equipped with a Garmin 4212 MFD, updated Garmin 18" HD dome radar, and TR-1 Autopilot. To starboard, a large door opens to a massive storage compartment big enough to keep a large cooler in the shade, and just aft is an in-floor storage compartment designed to hold the shore power cables but doubles as another ice storage to compliment the gravity-drain fishbox on the port side. Also to port is a compartment to hold dock lines and an innovative pull-out cooktop. Forward of the helm is a L-shaped settee to starboard, and inside the helm, stepping down, you'll find batteries and the Kohler 7.3kw generator. The cabin is massive and features a galley to port and walk-in head to starboard. Forward is an innovative v-berth that sleeps up to four! The backrests fold up on each side, and with the table in the down position, one can sleep on each newly-created bunk with two on the berth. Looking aft you'll see yet another two-person berth under the helm deck. This boat also has an electric windlass forward, crows-nest upper station, and newly-updated Gemlux 26' carbon fiber outriggers. The features alone are enough to sell the boat, but the fact that the current owner has enjoyed using it since only having 50 hours says even more.
