1988 Jersey Dawn 42 - Sportfish Convertible in Beaufort, NC
This Jersey 42 is a very luxurious older sportfisher. The vessel has been on the hard for a little over two years and needs some attention but was running fine when she was brought in for maintenance. With a little attention, she will be ready to catch the big ones.
This 42′ Jersey Dawn has the desirable two staterooms, galley-down layout. She sports a large fishing cockpit, measuring 15' 8″ beam, there is a lot of room and features for a 42′ vessel.
A sturdy and well-built boat with a graceful profile, the Jersey 42 is certainly one of the better looking convertibles in her size range. She's built on a beamy solid fiberglass hull with modest transom deadrise, and her relatively flat after sections make the 42 a quick boat to accelerate out of the hole.
The interior of the Jersey 42 is fully paneled with well crafted teak woodwork and cabinetry. The cockpit, partially shaded by a flybridge overhang, is very spacious and comes with a molded tackle center, and cockpit coaming.
