The photos are as of 9/2022, taken by myself, and tell the story as to cosmetics, at that time the hull could use a compound and wax, upholstery excellent, vessel appears well maintained, owner reports that everything works, the boat runs well and the trailer in roadworthy condition.

2017 Scarab 255 Impulse jet boat get there fast and have a blast!
An interesting offering from the legendary go-fast boat manufacturer, the Scarab 255 Impulse is their entry into the market for versatile family day boats and boating.
This long and spacious jet-powered combination bowrider, deck boat and ski boat has the features and performance to allow one to do a little bit of everything pretty well.
Starting from the stern forward, the giant swim platform sits low to the water and has a four-step stainless steel boarding ladder for easy entry and exit for swimmers. Twin wet storage lockers are set into the swim platform for stowage of dripping tow ropes and ski vests, etc., to keep water out of the cockpit.
The transom seating features a pair of three-way backrests that allow rear-facing spectator or filming seating or that lay flat to form a sunpad in addition to the forward facing configuration.
Forward of those two seats are a pair of rear-facing seats to port and starboard with filler sections that can connect them to the aforementioned transom seats, thus forming a set of loungers and/or a wrap-around cockpit settee.
Still forward at the helm is a pair of richly padded and bolstered bucket seats for pilot and co-pilot, the helm station itself clean and modern with large, easy to read analog instruments for the tachometers and speedometer... no need to fuss with menus and such just to get the most import and basic information.
Finally, up front, the wide beam fives plenty of passenger room, the gunwale height keeping folks a bit drier and any little ones from flying overboard.
Of course being a jet boat the draft is minimal, just a few inches over a foot, reducing the likelihood of new or inattentive boaters colliding with perfectly innocent submerged obstructions, and the engines have closed circuit cooling, meaning their internal block passages are NOT exposed to the corrosive effects of salt or raw water and should offer a long service life.
So, go speed around or just hang out for a day, board a crowd to watch fireworks, take an evening cruise to a dockside restaurant, pull a skier or two, go swimming... all in all, a boat that can do many different things for quite some time to come.
