I know because I watched it. The MacKenzie is a traditional New England lapstrake wood construction. Well known for fishing the coastline of Narragansett and Buzzards Bays. "CEILIDH" has been professionally partially restored and has solid power in a 1992 265 hp GM Marine Engine with relatively low hours. New risers (cooling system) installed (fall of 2014) New twin 32 gallon fuel tanks (2008), Keel replaced with Angelique wood (2009), steel framing fasteners below waterline replaced with bronze fasteners (2008), 70% of exterior hull wood below waterline replaced (2008), cockpit sole replaced with teak (2008), Bimini top, engine box cushion and helm seat replaced (2008). Good condition and a great foundation for anyone to use or restore. Runs strong and operates well, needs some cosmetic TLC, priced accordingly.
