2005 Malibu Wakesetter VLX
This is a project boat!! Boat was run aground doing major damage to bottom of hull and underwater gear. Transmission housing was also cracked. Boat can be repaired if someone wants to take the time and spend the money. This boat is sold as is where it is!It does include the Boatmate tandem trailer and the Indmar Monsoon 340 engine ( not in the boat) When it comes to natural selection, the Wakesetter VLX has clearly evolved beyond its not-so-humble beginnings as the wake riding boat of choice. It has leapt ahead of the pretenders and attained the status of legend in 2005. Sporting a completely redesigned hull and deck, the Wakesetter VLX now measures a full 21' 6" from bow to transom with a 98" beam. But the reality of these stats is what created a legend – gravity defying wakes and an awe-inspiring ride. Luxury is normally overlooked in a hardcore wakeboard boat. Enter the new Wakesetter VLX. The interior has been expanded to accommodate 11 people and redesigned to include panels of customizable accent colors that shoot through the comforting 38oz G&T upholstery. The passenger-side dash has been reshaped for 2005 to house a huge locking 1.5 cubic foot glove box which gives the dash a stylish new look, more storage and added security for valuables. Looks can be deceiving however, as the excessive interior amenities belie the workhorse nature of the VLX. Topped by the new Titan Series III tower, the optional Illusion X or CFT Blade carbon fiber tower, the Wakesetter VLX looks as good as it performs.
