2005 MasterCraft X-80 Only $59,995.00 ************************************************************ OVERVIEW You don't usually find the words luxury and wakeboarding in the same sentence, but those are the most appropriate terms to define the X-80, MasterCraft's combination of its deep-V hull and the upscale appointments of its MariStar line. Once it becomes common knowledge that you can accommodate 15 passengers in this 28-plus-foot-long wake-making machine, your social circle will mysteriously grow. Good thing is your old friends and your new friends have enough room to each host their own soiree in separate sections of the boat. The rear swim platform alone is large enough to double as a dance floor. Sun worshippers in the crowd will like the bow cushion that runs the full length of the open foresection, as well as the extendable bow ladder that helps them disembark without washing off their sunscreen. A built-in Corian-covered minibar with six-gallon freshwater sink means fewer trips to the dock. SKIING Free-skiers will benefit most from this hull design, as it's not tailored for giving you wakes fit for hard edging. If your thing is skiing out in big, open water, the X-80's size and deep-V hull will capably and comfortably lead the way. WAKEBOARDING As you'd expect, a monster boat easily creates monster wakes that will challenge both mid-level and advanced riders. The wakes behind this boat don't have the same elite form as those from the X-Star, and they are steep, giving you less margin for error when trying to land wake-to-wake tricks. A thousand pounds of in-floor ballast is sucked up pretty quickly. LOWDOWN The X-80 is the largest inboard water-sports vessel of its kind. Twin 350 hp engines give you the juice to take this baby offshore. A port-side rear-facing seat converts into a comfy reclining lounger.
