30 ELHGA 4-Stroke EFI...now this is a modern engine! Electric start with an alternator to power accessories, EFI (electronic fuel injection) gives you super fuel economy, adapts to altitude changes and has computerized engine control. This engine is for a long shaft transom--20".It has electric start with rope start back-up for battery-free manual starts. The 15 amp alternator keeps your battery going to power your fish finder, navigation lights or other accessories. This engine trims/tilts easily with a gas-assist ram so you don't have to be Stretch Armstrong. Only 31 hours on this barely used engine. Check the prop and skeg--almost no sign of use. Oh, and it's propped for Montana altitude.List price for a new Merc 30 ELHGA is $5850 plus prop--so over $6000 for a new one!
