The first time the term "Head Turner" was ever used at a marina it was due to this classic fisherman arriving. Hull #7 was born in the Merritt Yard in Pompano Beach. She just went through a 6 month revitalization bringing her back to show boat condition. When boarding her from the cockpit you will encounter wide teak covering boards and a classic single step pedestal box to allow you easy footing to the all teak cockpit sole. This cockpit screams fishing magnet with her Murray Brothers fighting chair, cockpit helm station and boasts a large ice box and huge transom door. The day boat configuration allows for the full open easy access salon for serious fishing. You can also drop down the aft salon isinglass enclosure to allow your crew and guests all the comfort of a air conditioned comfortable place to rest or dine. When entering the salon to port you will see a large cushion over the engine box. Across to starboard is the raised dinette with drop down table for an additional sleeping area. Huge windows all around provide a 360 degree view. The center forward window opens for ventilation. The overhead is all high gloss teak with s/s hand rails. The sole is teak and holly with accent lighting. Both engines and generator are easily accessed through multiple hatches and removable cabinets.Moving Forward 3 steps down into the crew /galley area you will see a beautifully arranged cabin. To port the galley features all teak cabinets and molded in sink. A refrigerator, microwave and abundant storage make meal prep easy. Off to starboard is a day berth with storage and TV.Moving all the way forward to the companionway there are opposing storage lockers which are cedar lined. Forward of that is the enclosed head. There is generous storage, Raratin Head, anchor chain locker, and teak accents throguhout.Accessing the commanding Flybridge is made easy by the custom teak inlay ladder. The central helm with custom ladder back pedestal chair give the captain unobstructed 360 degree view. Port and starboard bench seats have storage underneath. The fiberglass hard top with new 3 sided enclosure protects you from inclement weather and sun.GalleySharp convection microwave ovenNorcold refrigerator with ice trayMolded sink with S/S retractable faucet4 cabinets2 drawsOverhead accent lightingAll teak custom cabinet and counter topTowel holderA/C outletsElectronicsAutopilot Robertson AP 300X8" Ritchie compassFuruno radarIcom M604 VHF BridgeFuruno Color SounderFCV 292 Bridge12 volt outlet bridgeFlybridge Stereo with 4 bridge speakersFuruno Naunet VX2 Chart PlotterGermin 2010C Chart PlotterFuruno Naunet VX2 CockpitIcom M304 VHF Radio CockpitDeckFiberglass hard top with a teak inlay overhead and courtesy lightsCockpit spreader lightsTeak inlay transom3 sided bridge isinglass enclosurePort and starboard flybridge bench seats with cushions and storage underneathTeak ladder back helm seat with coverCockpit coverPort and starboard cockpit isinglass spray coversAll teak flybridge custom helm with central raised instrumentation clusterS/S hard top grab railsS/S grab rails around cabin topWelded aluminum bow railCustom Forward deck hatch with cover2 Bow cleats 12"2 bow chocksAll teak varnished cap railPort and starboard deck house steps to bridgeS/S Flybridge ladder with teak stepsFlybridge staircaseTeak access hatch4 Bridge teak cupholdersCustom Merritt aluminum helm wheelFlybridge helm coverForward flybridge 3 sided poly windscreen with s/s supportsAll teak covering boards and cockpit soleTeak cockpit step box with storagePort and starboard cockpit long storage lockersCity water inlet cockpit2 midship 12" cleats2 cockpit stern 12" cleatsOverhead cockpit courtesy lightsStarboard Forward cockpit helm with full instrumentation4 port holesDanforth Anchor15' chain150' RodeElectrical SystemsPhazor Generator 116 hours12 volt breaker panel on flybridgeA/C and D/C Distribution PanelTrue Charger Battery Charger and monitorFishing EquipmentDouble speaker Rupp outriggersTransom door5 rod holder aft flybridge rail4 rod holders cockpit gunwalMurray Brothers fishing chair with 4 rocket launchers and removable ladder backFish chair coverCentral bait wellBait FreezerFresh and salt water washdownsTackle storage5 gimbaled rod holders on fishing chair2 rod holders bridge support legs8 rod holders for storage in salon overheadMechanical Equipment4 Bilge Blowers3 Bilge PumpsFreshwater Cooling System24x24 Nibral 3 Blade PropsZF Clutch controls with custom Merritt clutch handlesZF engine synchronizerStewart Warner temp, pressure, drive oil gaugesCustom aircraft style tackometer and manifold pressure gaugesRacor Vacuum gaugesCustom recessed Bennett Trim TabsDipless shaft logsSMX Marine Reverse cycle air conditioning2 Racor fuel filers main engine1 Racor fuel filter generatorCarbon Minoxide AlarmFire Bouy fire suppression systemRaritan Electric HeadOther FeaturesThe following items were replaced new in 2013:Salon and dinette cushionsFuel tanksTeak DecksBennett Trim Tabs and PumpCutlass bearingsReconditioned PropsBow Deck PaintedBridge Cap PaintedCoolant changed main enginesReplaced air sepsReplaced sink faucetsWindshieldRefinished varnishRefinished ChromePlating on stantions and railsTinted WindowsStereoFire Supression System ServicedRecondition port and starboard turbo chargersPaint Hull bottomProp speed gearsGalley RefridgeratorCockpit deck framesBilge pump and switchA/C PumpFuel lines from tanksFuel Primer PumpsTide sealsStrut BearingsFlybridge enclosureAft Deck enclosureTransmissionThis is just a few items of a 25 page list of recent repairs and upgrades this year which totaled almost $200,000.Additional InformationBesides the enormous list of very recent upgrades this vessel also had an engine refit of high performance engines which required the addition of auxiliary flotation chines to handle the increased displacement. That undertaking was at a cost close to one million dollars.
