From recreational line lengths of 15 off all the way to a shortline of 35 off, the wakes are soft and small, barely rising above the surface level of the water as the Outback races along at tournament speeds in the 30s. To create the hull, Moomba engineers used their instinctive feel for the water and expertise in boatbuilding, rather than any computer-assisted design.
