1969 Morse 40 Trawler Very Good Condition wood vessel! A John Alden design and built in Maine this trawler is a classic Mahogany planked wood boat with extra care to help restore her to a fun functional vessel. With radar, GPS, auto pilot and a dependable Cummins 6BT 5.9L diesel engine she can run far and use very little fuel. At cruise speed of about 8 knots she burns about 2.5 gal an hour. With a 270 gallons fuel tank that means she can run over 100 hours straight before getting more! There is a 3.5 gen set on board that runs everything needed and can keep the new A/C running for a cool cabin in the summer. This boat is ready to set sail around the great loop! Her mast has a 21.5' water line clearance which can also be dropped down with ease to approximately 16' which is great for low stationary bridges.
