2009 Nordic 42 Inferno, NORDIC 42 INFERNO with Mid Cabin/Open Bow and 40 hours on Brand New Motors100% Fresh water use onlyIf you are looking for a high performance boat that suits the family, then this is it! We purchased this boat directly from Nordic in 2014. At that time, they updated a number of items including adding the open bow and outfitting it with BRAND NEW Teague Custom Marine 825 EFI motors. The motors are custom painted to match the boat and coupled to IMCO SCX4 drives through BAM Cyborg transmissions. This is a very dependable drivetrain setup that will give you dependable performance for many years to come. THE MOTORS ONLY HAVE 40 TOTAL HOURS ON THEM!The interior of the boat is very plush and in excellent condition. The open bow area seats about five people (more if they are kids) and rides excellent at speeds of up to 70 MPH. The mid cabin is very large and allows for a 6ft tall person to fully stand up. It has large couches down each side will accommodate up to 4 people on each. They are perfect for lying down on and taking a nap in the middle of the day. Towards the back of the cabin is a kitchenette with sink, refrigerator, and pantry to store those afternoon snacks. Across from the kitchen area is a large bathroom closet with plenty of room to house as many floats as you could ever want to store.Move everybody to the main cockpit, close off the cabin door, and push the throttle down. You and your crew will be propelled up to 100 MPH in very short fashion as the superchargers kick in and providing the signature whipple whine sounds. The surface drives project an extremely loan roster tail highlighting the boat as it screams down the lake.The stereo system was completely replaced in 2014. If consist of a Rockford Fosgate control system with four remote control stations. There are three subwoofers, two in the cockpit area and one in the open bow area. Four component speakers systems line the cockpit with an additional set in the cabin and open bow area. There is amber LED lighting throughout as well to complement the stereo installation.At the end of the day, you can pull into port, connect the shorepower, and cool the cabin down with the onboard air conditioner including in-cabin thermostat. Electrically, the boat is prewired for a Westerbeke onboard generator with operation controls located on by the main breaker panel. Why are we selling? We of course to get something even bigger! This boat has truly been the most exciting investment we have made. The open bow conversion lets you pack on people like a pontoon boat, but have the look of a sports car! 1992 NORDIC 28 Offshore/Big Lake boat. Now just imagine you have entered a time warp back to 1992 and you see this original owner boat with only 184 hours in immaculate condition, like new, one of kind condition. It was stored and maintained at Nordic for many years when I worked overseas, it sits on a triple axle RS trailer, and is powered by a Mercury Magnum I/O with 390 hp, it was the Mercury Marine's test boat for their performance data sheet that year, they tuned it, chose a prop and blasted across Lake Havasu at 58 mph. Prior to this it was proudly displayed at the LA boat show as the centerpiece for Nordic boats that year. It is one of their innovative designs with both a cabin and large open bow, rear wrap around seating and is CG rated for 16, All fluids changed yearly, oiled and fogged, upgraded stereo, dual batteries, and pre luber for engine starting and fluid changes make this an excellent cruiser. We re selling our Nordic Heat as our boating style has changed and we re unable to keep two boats. We are the original owners and have meticulously maintained this boat with an open check book which can be seen by it s as new condition both inside and out. All engine and drive line work has been completed by the professionals at Full Throttle Marine, including numerous hours of research and tuning by Bob Lloyd which sees this boat perform as both an excellent family boat and at any time become the bad boy we all really love driving. Nordic s 28 Heat is an excellent proven hull design, combine this with the large accommodating layout and you ll understand why it s so popular throughout the boating community. With this awesome platform we added tasteful additions that are too many to list here, please contact me if you want to discuss any detail of the boat. Only 300 hours of Fresh Water use on the Hull Only 30 hours on upgraded engine and rebuilt outdrive completed in April 2014. There is too much to list here, the primary upgrades in 2014 included AFR Heads, a custom ground cam and Holley s Dominator EFI ECU that includes closed loop tuning and learning. Dyno records and Engine Build Sheets are available upon request. There was no expense spared when assembling this awesome drive train, right down to the Custom Dana Marine tail pipes feeding into the GGB Custom Stainless Steel Mufflers that are hidden in the engine compartment. IMCO Dual Ram full Hydraulic Steering tied to a Mercury Bravo XR drive with SIMREK Drive Shower turning a SS Balanced and Blueprinted Hydromotive Engineering Intimidator 5 Blade P-5X prop. Helm upgraded using all Livorsi gauges with new oil temp, water pressure and water temperature gauges for the driver and Eddie Marine Elite Series Throttle and Drive Controls. 1200 Watt Stereo with iPod connection and Sirius- XM Satellite radio driving Polk Audio Speakers and JL Audio Subwoofer. Custom LED lighting independently switched for Bow, Mid Cabin and Cockpit area. New 40 oz Premium Cut Corinthian Marine Carpet installed April 2014 Sunbrella Bow and cockpit covers, Bimini top, Drop down bolsters, Trim Tabs with indicators, Depth Finder, custom Merlin on Glove Box, upgraded powder coated cup holders, Swim platform with swim step ladder, New Dual Interstate Marine batteries with switch, Dual 44 gallon fuel tanks with IMCO tank switch. Nordic built tri-axle trailer with hydraulic surge brakes on 2 axles with hidden spare tire. All tires (7) replaced in May 2014. When not in use boat is kept on the trailer in a completely enclosed and locked storage unit under a full mooring cover. Will consider selling without power or alternate power.
