The O'Day 322 was designed by C. Raymond Hunt Associates and lived up to their good design reputation creating comfort, space, and ease of handling with this pocket cruiser. The O'Day 322 is an ideal cruiser. With a wide wing keel, she draws 3'6" with her wing keel, allowing you to explore a bit further up the creek than others care to venture. Her Yanmar diesel is one of the most reliable engines ever produced. In light winds, she picks up speed quickly. In heavier winds, she heels over slightly, finds her groove, and maintains her stability. The seating in the salon is spacious and comfortable. A meal shared with friends and family can be truly enjoyed at a leisurely pace. The dining table is sturdy, supported by pivoting stainless steel brackets from underneath.
Stylish and contemporary and a good sailing family boat! Welcome aboard the O'Day 322. You will see a brilliant, wide-open layout with headroom of six feet or more extending into the forward cabin. The spacious arrangement features a "disappearing" section of forward bulkhead which opens up the boat interior to the bow for a bright, airy feeling. Overhead lockers are aircraft style, and there is abundant shelving and ample storage spaces. The drop-leaf table seats up to six, folding to allow a double berth in the main cabin. There are two private, fully enclosed double staterooms; one forward, and the other aft of the companionway ladder.
