This boat is very solid with no fundamental problems, no stringer rot, etc. well cared for, clean MA title. Nobody at the marina can believe it's a 1998. You could absolutely use it as is. Has full set of older electronics that should probably be upgraded, but all still working:-Lowrance LCX 25c with gold Navionics-Lowrance LV250 vhf radio-Ritchie compass-Furuno 1623 16 mile radar New dealer-installed motor in December 2012, has about 50 hours on it. Service done at 20 hours. I bought this with big plans but have had no time for it and can't justify the thousands in Marina fees. The caveats:-Previous owners have done some squirrely wiring that should be addressed. I've been chipping away at it but haven't finish. Nothing fundamentally dangerous, just amateurish. Plan on putting some work into the electrics.-Steering probably needs a re-build on the front and/or back - feels loose.-Although I just put new tires on it, I don't think the trailer is road-worthy for anything other than local use. If you are going to trailer it far to get home or trailer it in general we should arrange to get a new trailer under it.-This is an older model with the cut-out transom-mounted motor - it does not have a full transom with motor bracket.-Could use new bottom paint.
